What we collect and why

• Enquiries and demo bookings. If you email us or book a demo, we keep your name, work email and correspondence so we can respond and follow up. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (responding to your enquiry).
• Business outreach. We occasionally contact UK accountancy firms about PracticeCue. Firm contact details come from publicly available sources — professional directories, firm websites and the Companies House register. We only send marketing email to corporate subscribers in line with PECR, we identify ourselves in every message, and every message includes a working unsubscribe. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (relevant business-to-business marketing). If you object, we add you to a suppression list so we cannot contact you again.
• Customer accounts and client data. If your firm becomes a customer, your firm is the data controller of the client information you load into PracticeCue (names, contact details, tax-status information) and we process it only on your instructions as a processor, under our customer agreement. Data is stored encrypted on UK/EU servers.

What we don't do

• No advertising or tracking cookies on this website. No analytics that identify you.
• We never sell personal data, and never use customer client data for marketing.

Retention

Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last exchange. Outreach lists: contact details are removed when no longer relevant, and suppression entries are kept indefinitely (so opt-outs stick). Customer data: deleted within 30 days of contract end, or earlier on request.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing (including an absolute right to object to direct marketing), and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Email hello@practicecue.co.uk and we'll respond within a month.
